December 5th and Christmas just 20 days away. . .
I am starting to feel the anxiety. Even with cutting back a bit I am still overwhelmed. I am planning a big 40th surprise party for Jim next Friday and worked on the invites the last few days. I did a bit of on-line shopping and am getting excited for Chris. He is going to be happy with his surprises this year.
I can't believe how much he has grown. I just figured out how to upload pictures on this blog and thought I'd share my favorite pic of my sweet boy! He was just barely one when I had him at Meijer in his red thermals, overalls and Santa cap. He was in such a good mood I decided to see if he would sit for a photo shoot. (back in the day you could buy groceries and have portraits made!
I think this will always be one of my favorite pictures of him. It really captures his silly nature and quest for all that is funny. I loved that time in our lives, simpler days. I can just feel his soft wiggly body and smell his sweet skin.
Hope should be around that same age when we get her, I can't wait. If she is half as happy and sweet as he was I will be in heaven.
