Just some of my favorite Scouting pictures from over the years...Compiling these pictures have made me miss them even more! Couldn't you just pinch those cheeks??
My boys left this morning at 6:30 a.m. (ugh!) for Chris' first Boy Scout camping trip to Antietam, a Civil War site in Maryland! They were so excited! I have enjoyed watching them over the past few weeks shopping for just the right gear and laughing over their 'guy' jokes. (ugh again!)
Jim is beside himself now that Chris is finally getting into the part of Scouts he enjoys the most... Camping! (3rd ugh!)
They are so blessed to have each other. These are the days that they will cherish when Chris is grown... Memories in the making... My little boy is becoming a young man... In a way I feel like I have slowly 'turned Chris over' to his Dad. (Sniff!)
Good thing my apron strings are stretchy! I plan on pinching those cheeks as soon as he walks in the door Sunday... no matter how smelly!
